August 21 La Prova - The ProofL'ho sempre detto che c'era qualcosa di più nella Comunità di Myst che ci univa...non era solo il gioco.
Una buona spiegazione del perchè restiamo insieme dopo tutte le cadute di Myst la potete trovare nella Newsletter della Gilda dei Messaggeri che uscirà tra qualche giorno (ho appena finito la traduzione in italiano e appena blutec mi invia il layout la metto online)
Ma non sono venuto certo qui per far pubblicità alla Gilda.
Ho finalmente trovato anche la prova scientifica. Se qualcuno mi avese chiesto perchè stiamo insieme fino a ieri avrei risposto perchè Myst è riuscito a riunire persone che hanno un carattere molto raro, tutte insieme. Persone che a causa della rarità in genere tendono a chiudersi e sembrare timide e distanti.
Quante ho volte ho letto messaggi che finivano con questa frase "Thank you, you brought me out of my shell", lascio a voi la traduzione.
Ora ho capito che effettivamente avevo ragione, ci tiene insieme il fatto che stiamo bene insieme e che nel mondo esterno è assolutamente difficile trovare altre persone così.
Ed ecco la prova "scientifica":
La psicologia/sociologia suddivide le persone in molti tipi di personalità, secondo due metodi: il sistema di Myers-Briggs e il sistema di Keirsey.
La tipologia in assoluto più rara di persona è la tipologia INTJ (Introversione, Intuizione, Pensiero, Giudizio) per il metodo Myers-Briggs, che corrisponde alla tipologia "Mastermind" del sistema Keirsey. Leggete le definizioni, molto Myststiche, no?
La percentuale mondiale di questo tipo di persone è stimata all'incirca sull'1% della popolazione.
Ora, facendo un'analisi delle personalità nella Comunità di Myst abbiamo notato una cosa stupefacente, cioè che la personalità INTJ invece di essere la più scarsa, nella comunità risulta essere tra le più comuni.
Questa è la forza che ci tiene insieme e a giudicare dalla descrizione è anche la forza che ci permette di portare a successo i nostri progetti.

Ovviamente non si arriva al 100%, ci sono molte altre personalità ma il 90% ha in comune una cosa: la I, di Introversione. La seconda lettera più frequente è la N, di iNtuitivo. e anche la J si vede spesso, di Giudizio.
Passando ai miei risultati. Anch'io sono risultato INTJ o Mastermind, seppure con un paio di percentuali un po' basse.
I miei risultati: è interessante vedere come coincida anche il tipo di carriera lavorativa consigliata.

But I didn't come to to advertise the Guild.
Eventually I've found the scientific proof, too. Till yesterday if someone asked me why we stick together I'd have replied: because Myst has been able to unite people who have a rare personality, all together. People that usually, because of the rarity, tend to close themslves and they seem shy and distant.
How many time I read messages that ended with this sentence: "Thank you, you brought me out of my shell".
Now I actually found that I was right, the thing that keeps us together is the fact that we feel good together and that in the outside world is absolutely difficult to find poeple like us.
And this is the "scientific" proof:

Now, analysing the personalities in the Myst Comunity we've noticed a wonderful thing, that is that the INTJ personality isn't the most rare in the comunity, but it's one the most common.
This is the force that keep sus together and looking at the description it is also the force which allows us to succeed in our projects.

Obviously we don't get to 100%, there are various other personalities but the 90% has one thing in common: the I, of Introversion. Le second most frequent letter is the N, of iNtuition. And there's often the J too, of Judging.
Changing to my results. I am an INTJ or Mastermind too, altought a couple of % are a bit low.
My results: it is interesting to see that the Working career is exactly the one I like.
